I thought I’d do a quick blog post  to recognize some of my favorite and most inspirational teachers so far in my journey of life.

Personal Angels

There have been many individuals who have entered my life albeit briefly who have had a dramatic impact upon it. These are my personal angels sent to me through divine intervention to bring to me a message or push in a certain direction. I believe in these kind of angels that live on the ground disguised as you and me. The people who for some strange and unknown reason appear in your life and disappear just as quickly yet leave a deep and lasting impression tp help to change the direction of your life.

My personal angels can’t help you but you need to be aware and watchful for when your personal angels enter into your life to have a deep and lasting impact on you.

Wayne Dyer

Often referred to as the ‘father of motivation’. Wayne Dyer has inspired me to search for meaning in my life and to recognize my true purpose and to follow that path. My lessons learned from his spiritual wisdom have really placed me on my current path. He helped me to ask the right questions and how to listen for the answers.  His lessons on Taoism: The Way have helped me to recognize the peaceful path to life. Wayne speaks often about living from the flow of life- it is from this space that true inspiration and the perfection of life exists. He has inspired me to be inspired and to allow life to speak through me.

Yossi Ghinsberg

I cannot thYossi Ghinsberg- Inspriational teacherink of Yossi without tearing up. I had the pleasure of hanging on to his every word for 3 hours at a seminar in Puerto Rico.  Just being in his presence and feeling the divine energy that he emanated raised my vibrational levels to a much higher place. I still feel this whenever I hear his name and will continue to live off this forever. Here is a man of infinite wisdom about the meaning of life and how we are all interconnected. I love Yossi. His embrace was filled with such gentle warmth, love and acceptance. He is always there for me in my dark moments. I listen to his videos and his soft gentle voice immediately brings me back to what is important in life and how everything, no matter how bad, is actually so perfect. He inspires me to not be fearful but instead to serve life and it’s purpose.

Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela has taught me the power of forgiveness. His book ‘The Long Walk to Freedom’ tells an inspirational story of his courageous fight for freedom and the equality of all men. To hear how all he endured living 28 years in a cell just because he dreamed and fought for a better world to then walk away with total forgiveness and reconciliation in is heart, makes me believe in the greatness of man.  He inspires me to live with forgiveness and to strive to be a better person.

There are so many other wonderful teachers who have entered my life at the right moment and inspired me to live my best life. These are the 3 most influential in my life. These are the ones that when I hear their names I stop for a deep breath of divine recognition,  joy, love and  gratitude for the positive impact they have had on my life and for all they do to make this world such a beautiful place.

Living an inspirational life is the secret to success and happiness. This is the key to living a fulfilling life. There is no other answer. You don’t have to go searching any longer for the secrets to a happy life and the steps to follow in order to do so. You don’t have to take the courses and uncover your limiting beliefs or even unravel the secrets of the Universal Laws you just have to get inspired. This is the place of power. It is unstoppable and all you have to do is to understand this and tap into the power of inspiration.

This has been a topic of thought for me for some time. This is what has inspired Craig and I to do what we are now doing with Wake Up With Caz and Craig. As for us, living an inspired life is what life is all about. This is the place where pure magic and joy happens.Living an inspired life means living it on purpose and living life through the experience of  joy, and enthusiasm.

For me I believe there are two ways to be pushed to live a better life. You can be motivated or you can be inspired.

Let’s look at the definition of motivation as told by dictionary.com : To provide with an incentive; move to action; impel, to stimulate toward action; induce, move, provoke, prompt, cause;   a motivating force, stimulus, or influence

All these point to an external force pushing a person to reach for a reward or goal. Motivaton works but it’s the harder path and can be full of greater struggle; it’s less enjoyable and powerful. When you are motivated it means there is something from the outside pushing you. An external force of energy pushing you to be better. It might be a coach or a quote, a goal or a reward pushing you to change from the outside in. Motivating forces have too many variables. It’s too easy to forget them, to get sidetracked, overwhelmed or overtaken by other important issues or setbacks.

Let’s look at the definition of  inspiration as told by dictionary.com:   to guide or control by divine influence; to produce or arouse (a feeling, thought, etc; to fill with an animating, quickening, or exalting influence;   to infuse (breath, life, etc.)

All these point to the same thing: to fill yourself with life (divine influence) to control or guide you. In other words- pure power of movement as it comes from within.

Inspiration is something that comes from the inside. It’s the energy that comes from within you that propels you forward. It’s energy in it’s purest force. When you become inspired you move; you move with joy and with freedom and purpose. All the great achievements in life have been created through the inspiration. That creator became inspired and so moved and with that power and created magnificent things.

For example, let’s look at the writing of my blog posts. I can write a post through the motivation  to attract more readers and achieve my goals.  When I sit down to write from this point of view and from this motivating power, I find it very difficult. I stop, start, get stuck and frustrated. Words don’t flow for me and it could take me days to finish a post. It often needs lots of editing and rewriting.

When I get inspired to write, I’m on fire. The ideas come from deep within me and they just flow with divine power. My mind races quicker than I can type. I don’t have to think about what to write it just flows and fits together perfectly. I don’t have to do much editing and I always get the best response from people with my inspired posts. True power that can’t get sidetracked or be stopped.  Inspiration is the purest form of energy and power for creativity and change.

An inspired life means living full throttle. Experiencing life in all it’s flavors. It means livig life through the eyes and place of wonder, awe, enthusiasm, love, passion, joy, creativity and divine inspiration. It’s perfect energy; it is unstoppable energy.

How do I know this with such certainty?  Because I’ve lived both sides of the coin. For years I lived an inspired life and
operated totally through those amazing emotions. I always lived from a place of enthusiasm, passion and joy. I was in awe of everything. A sunset, a tree, a beautiful beach, a new and friendly face,a piece of history, a song that I would sing with passion. When I lived my life from this place I was in the total flow of life and magic always happened for me.

The other side. I stopped being inspired. Other emotions took over and I allowed myself to live from these places instead- fear, doubt, ingratitude and indecision.  I tried some motivating forces to change but couldn’t. I became stuck and wouldn’t move. I couldn’t figure out why. My questioning and searching led me to discover the truth of the matter- I stopped being inspired. I tried all the courses and self help books and mentors etc. I followed the Laws of Attraction and Universal Laws. They didn’t work for me because I was relying on motivation. It was not strong enough to move me. The problem was I was not being inspired. I knew how to do this but I stopped knowing it. I didn’t recognize that I had the answers. I instead looked elsewhere and tried to motivate myself to find the answers and get the results. I shut off from the inner, divine guidance that I always relied on to run my life perfectly.

Eckart Tolle discusses in ‘A New Earth’ that the highest forms of emotion that we should live our life from are enthusiasm and joy. If you are not living life from these emotions it does not matter how much you visualize, affirm and set goals, you are going to find your desired results a lot more difficult to obtain. It still works- absolutely but get in joy and enthusiasm and the river of life will flow abundantly and perfectly.

I’ve discovered the secret to a fulfilled life. And so now begins my inspired life round number 2: Passion, joy, enthusiasm and awe are back and life is so beautiful again. And now it is my mission to help inspire others because I know this is the most powerful force for change. It comes from the inside. It’s unstoppable energy.

Our mission with Wake up With Caz and Craig is to help you live an inspirational life. To help you tap into those feelings inside of you that get you moving. There are so many powerful ways to do this and that is what we aim to bring to you every morning. We aim to surround you with inspire you to move inside out:

  • Daily Quotes and messages to inspire you and give you the tools to start thinking about change and making it happen.
  • Constant reminders of how great you are, how powerful you are and how you were destined for a life of  significant purpose
  • Songs: music will inspire the most uninspired person. Music uplifts you and gets you in that place of joy and enthusiasm. That is why we have a song of the week. It’s chosen carefully. We play it every day to get you tapping into your inner energy and get you inspired to be great.
  • Fun: We’re going to be bringing the joy to you through our lives and through fun competitions and interactions. Just enjoy life; it’s fun.
  • Nature and travel: For us there is no greater place to get inspired. The beauty of nature  is the closest you will get to life; to the source of us all. This is the space of the creator. For 10 years I lived in total awe, because I spent so many of my days enjoying many magical and breathtaking moments in nature. We’ll be bringing it to you- messages from around the world on our travels.
  • Stories of others that will inspire you to greatness by their very inspired actions. We’ll be sharing stories with you of people who have inspired us around the world and also bring to you interviews with inspired people who are living an inspired life.
  • Interaction: We’re friendly and fun, full of enthusiasm and joy. We’ll infect you with this. We  love to meet new people and interact. We’re your friendly face. Someone who’ll welcome you in, give you a smile and remind you to be great, to be inspired and to have fun.

Living an inspired life means being guided by the inner divine in you; the place of perfection, beauty, strength and magic. Being inspired means saying “Yes” to life and living every moment in joy and awe for the beauty that it holds. Make your life a life worth living and get inspired. Your greatness is just beginning.

Positive and Negative Pheromones- What are You Going to Leave Behind?

September 26th, 2009 by Caroline in Uncategorized

I’ve been learning about positive and negative pheromones lately through my favorite teacher Dr. Wayne Dyer. These lessons resonated so deeply with me, arrived right in the midst of a powerfully uplifting pheromone experience, and allowed me to understand how they have impacted my life thus far.

Pheromones are particles of unseen energy that are emitted in moments of fear, and in its opposite, love. Well-documented studies have shown that when animals and humans, enter into a room or place where torture has taken place, they feel the painful and cruel energy that existed there. The fear that these pheromones leave behind impact the energy field so that it affects anyone who enters that space even years later.I understood what Dr Wayne Dyer was explaining here as I have been in many places where I have felt deeply the impact of these pheromones on the state of my well-being.

When traveling through Cambodia, a must-see on every traveler’s list is the Killing Fields. This is where at least 200,000 Cambodians were executed by the Khmer Rouge. Before going to the fields we visited the notorious ‘Security Prison 21.’ This was an old high school and it was the place many innocent people were taken to be interrogated and tortured.

Unimaginable pain and terror once existed within those walls and I felt it’s horror so intensely. Just thinking about it brings back the eerie and sickening feeling of that day. We left the torture chambers in deep shock, sickness and horror at how humans could treat one another. We decided we could not visit the Killing Fields and experience any more of what had happened there so many years ago. I just couldn’t experience the brutality of it anymore. All that we read and saw there could have been done through a book and we would never have felt what we did. After learning from Dr. Dyer this week, I now know that I felt so bad that day because of the cruel and painful energy field that was left behind by those tortured souls.

On the other end of the spectrum I have experienced the faster energy fields of love and happiness. We visited Biltmore Estate on the weekend, which is the largest house in America and home of the Vanderbilt Family, who were once the richest in the world. Positive, happy and loving energy fields radiated from the walls in there. You could just feel the joy of what once existed in that warm and welcoming home.

Leaving Biltmore Estate I was filled with a fuzzy warmth inside that signaled to me that a great time was had by anyone who was a guest of the Vanderbilt Family. I’d spent time in the opulence surroundings of the largest house in America, eaten a divine lunch in what was once the stables and finished the day with tastings of wine in the cellars. The pheromones of the place ignited my spirit and left me with thoughts of wealth and the pleasures that are so abundant in our world for us to share and experience. Within these walls once lived a family who loved each other deeply and shared this love and happiness with all who entered and spent time with them.

After learning about pheromones and my experiences today at Biltmore it became more apparent to me just why I am so addicted to and in love with travel. It is through the existence of these pheromones that I can experience life in the richness and fullness of it’s diversity. I can experience the pleasures and pain of so many lives that existed before my own.

I’ve visited places that are full of positive pheromones and I am so uplifted with joy and the power of the human spirit to create so much love. I live through the people that have come before me and I know what it’s like to explore and be the first to gaze upon incredible sights like Victoria Falls; build magnificent temples; play with intense joy or to triumph over adversity and love so deeply.

On the contrary, the pain that has existed in places before has been felt intensely by me upon visitation there also. These pulsing, negative pheromones have brought tears rolling down my cheeks and a sickness to my core. Through them I have felt the horrors of war, of torture, of sickness and poverty, or racial discrimination and hatred. Many times I’ve wanted to turn my back on humanity, stop the world and just get off.

But it is through experiencing each of these acutely (through these pheromones) and by being present in that pain that I have been able to understand what is important in life and from this develop my own personal code of ethics and belief. I know what I need to do to live my life so that I create a world that impacts by leaving only positive pheromones behind.

Do you? What are you choosing to leave behind each day?

Does your Future Equal Your Past?

August 22nd, 2009 by Caroline in self-improvement

There are many that tout the catchphrase ‘”Your future does not equal your past,” myself included. There is a certain amount of truth to this statement but there is also a part of this that does not hold true which I would like to explain to you today. The truth of this phrase can imprison you or it can set you free.

Your Future Does not Equal your Past

What this means is that you do not have to have the same life that you led in the past. You can change it. You can make your future bigger, brighter, happier, wealthier, poorer, sadder, and so forth.

You can in fact make your future anything you want. You are not defined by your past mistakes. Just because you made bad investments, cheated on your spouse, stole from your co-workers, spent time in prison etc does not mean this is all your future will hold for you. You can make the decision to not let the past define your future any more.

Your Future Does Equal Your Past

However you can continue to have the same tomorrow as you did yesterday. I’m sorry to ruin this positive affirmation for you. And if you spend your days chanting this affirmation in the hopes that things change you have been misled. In order to successfully change your tomorrow’s you must understand the hidden truth to this affirmation.

Your future will continue to equal your past for as long as you continue to ignore the past and the lessons that have been there for you. All the trials and tribulations in your past have existed as an avenue for a lesson for you to learn, so that you may grow, in order to do whatever it was that you came here to do. If you refuse to face your past, it will continue to relive itself in your future, until you face the truth of whatever it is you need to acknowledge and learn. So in that respect your past will always equal your future.

Set Yourself Free From the Past

It is time to sit and face the demons of your past. Acknowledge whatever it is that you have done and whatever it is that has happened that you don’t like or are afraid of. Ask it why is it here? What has it come to teach you? Ask for the lesson to be shown clearly to you? and then listen…

Will you like what you hear? Probably not and you will find it could be very painful but the truth shall set you free. Your life will not change and you will not be able to create a brighter tomorrow unless you do this. Ask yourself ‘Does it really matter?’ ‘Does whatever is hiding there in the shadows really matter?’ Does it really define you as bad or as a loser or evil? Is this who you really are?

The answer is no. You are a divine being having a human experience. This is the one constant in your life. The one thing that will never change is the divinity of you that exists in your core. This is all that matters. Your past choices and mistakes should not be taking an active role in your future. They are there to help you on your journey. You are not a ‘bad’ person because of your past. You may have made bad choices but it’s not who you really are.

When you face the reality of this truth you will be able to forgive yourself and move forward. You will see with total clarity that your past does not matter; that your past really does not equal your future.

The question to ask your self now is ‘Do you really want to continue holding onto the past?” Is it worth it? Do you want to keep reliving your pains of yesterday?….

…. Because you know, you can easily let go of it, if you choose to!

You Won the Race- What a champion!

August 4th, 2009 by Caroline in Uncategorized

The majority of everyday people I come across lately seem to be stressed and unhappy. Whatever the superficial reason may be, the underlying cause, in truth, stems from feelings of worthlessness and self-loathing. Let’s face it we all have those moments when we feel like failures, that we are less than and will never amount to anything or ever achieve greatness.

For so many of us we proceed through life with this burned out feelings of failure and ‘less than’ the person next door. Our faith and our belief in our greatness seemed to disappear the moment we were born. How quickly we forget that the true essence of ourselves is one of a victor; a champion; someone who beat the odds to live and succeeded in a monumental form.
You are a champion! You already won the greatest race of your life! How did you forget your greatest achievement yet? Without it nothing is possible. You won the race to life. You won the race! The act of your breath is testament to the fact that you possess all the qualities of a champion.
You are reading this right now because you beat the odds and got to the egg first. It is in your genes, you were truly born a champion. It’s up to you now to harness that power that got you here and apply those winning characterstics to the life you won the right to live. You don’t have to worry that you don’t have the skills and talents to be a success in whatever it is you choose to do, because you already have them. It gave you life- you just allowed these innate strengths and abilities to stay dormant for awhile. Well it’s time to wake them up and get racing again!

How did you win the race?
1) Determination: You kept your eye on the egg. Your focus never faulted. You knew where you had to go and what you had to do to get there and you never once stopped swimming. You never thought about losing. Failure was not an option and so you acted accordingly.
2) Persistance and Perseverance: When the millions of other swimmers started dropping off like flies around you, you never once allowed them to drown you under. You didn’t stop to gossip and whinge about how difficult it was. You were just as tired as they were, but you knew if you just maintained your pace and kept swimming you were in for a good chance of getting to the finishing line. You didn’t necessarily swim the fastest, you just had the stamina needed to stay till the end.
3) Inner Guidance: So at this stage of the race, you had no eyes to show you the way. You had to rely on your intuition and guidance to help you find the way. You had faith in a greater power to help propel you to the right place.
4) Courage: It took courage to start the race in the first place. It was a hard and strenuous journey with only one winner out of millions. The odds of winning were very slim but you had the courage to step up to the plate and start swimming. Many of your competitors didn’t even make it out of the gate- the fear got too much for them.
5) Growth and Trust: You started off small, you didn’t know anything about what would happen to you if you did win the race. When you finally won you didn’t stop growing. You kept feeding yourself with nourishment and you grew into something amazing and wonderful. The innate skills you possessed helped you to begin and then you allowed nourishment to flow to you from those, who from this stage on, were in a more knowledgeable position to help you grow.
6) Perfect Timing: Not only did you have to have the stamina and strength to finish the race first. You had to have perfect timing to arrive at the exact moment in the cycle of life when the door was opening for you. Your timing is divine, it always has been. Do you understand the power you possess from this alone? You beat the millions of other sperm and you got the timing absolutely perfect- in the right place at the right time. This is a miracle in its purest form. You are a miracle maker!
7) The loudest Yeeha!: It was this that started the race for you and it was this that ended it. When you arrived at that egg you had to celebrate the loudest, for the egg to let you in. That was the secret password. You had to shout loud and clear that you were ready for this, you wanted life, and you were so grateful for the opportunity. The doors then opened and you started this amazing journey you find yourself in right now.
You won the race. You beat the odds. You deserve the victory.

Your reward was life-Go Live it! What are you doing with your life? Are you celebrating and making the most of that reward or have you forgotten the sweetness of it and what it took to get you here in the first place?
You fought hard for this life. Don’t waste all the talents that got you here in the first place. Make those other swimmers feel like they lost to a more deserving competitor. You are a champion, it is what you were born to be! All you need is within you.

You began as a champion, draw on these strengths that have always been within you, and continue to be a champion.
